Rieda is run by one person as a sole trader (Einzelunternehmen), not by a company. There is no legal entity, no commercial register entry and no VAT identification number to state — under German law a sole trader publishes their own name and a postal address at which legal documents can be served.

Email is the fastest route and is read by the person who builds the product. § 5 DDG asks for a second, direct channel alongside it; postal mail to the address above serves that purpose.

Map data and attribution

Routing and map data come from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). Elevation data comes from NASA SRTM. Map tiles are served by OpenFreeMap.

Rieda computes routes over that data; it does not own it and does not claim to.

Dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, but we would much rather hear from you directly first — most things are fixable by email.
